Supriya Pilgaonkar

Supriya Pilgaonkar (Marathi : सुप्रिया पिळगांवकर), often known by her screen name Supriya (Marathi : सुप्रिया), is a Marathi actress. She is the wife of Marathi actor Sachin Pilgaonkar. Her maiden name is Supriya Sabnis.

Her claim to fame is her role of a harried daughter-in-law to Reema Lagoo's mother-in-law in the popular Indian TV comedy series "Tu Tu Main Main".

Supriya Pilgaonkar is an actress who stands out for her stellar performance in the television serial Tu Tu Main Main. She has acted in Marathi and Hindi films.

Basics
Supriya Sabnis was born on 17th August 1957 in Mumbai, India. She met Sachin Pilgaonkar, a Marathi actor, while shooting for a movie. They got married and have a daughter, Shreya.

The couple appeared together on the dance show Nach Baliye and walked away as the winners.

Supriya has acted in a handful of television serials, the most popular of them are: Tu Tu Main Main, Radhaa Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi and Kadvee Khattee Meethi. Tu Tu Main Main was a comic look at the differences and affection between a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. Supriya played the daughter-in-law. In its sequel Kadvee Khattee Meethi, she got a new role to play – as a mother-in-law.

After leaving the audience in splits with her performance, she tried her hand at movies. She has acted in two movies Awara Paagal Deewana and Aetbaar.
