Synopsis: films Tahan is based on the problems of the drought-effected farmers of Maharashtra. Water is today's burning problem especially for farmers of Marathwada, Vidharbha districts. Meaning thirst, the film focuses on the subject and reveals the miserable lives that these farmer's lead, their fight and struggle for water and also reveals the politics, the negative attitude towards this sensitive problems. Directed by Dasbabu, it is written by Shrikant Bojewar and has lyrics by Jagdish Khebudkar, music by Achyut Thakur and choreography by Subal Sarkar.
