Still from the 1933 film 'Sairandhri,' with Leela as Sairandhri and Master Vinayak as King Virat. The first color Indian film. It was a fantastic costume that was produced in India and then transferred to the UFA Studio in Germany for color processing.

Note: Shantaram had produced  Sairandhri (1933) which had scenes in color. However, the film was processed and printed in Germany.
