Bal Karve

Bal Karve is a prominent Indian actor who has appeared in Marathi language films, television shows, and theatre.He was well known for playing Gundyabhau alongside Dilip Prabhavalkar as Chimanrao in the Doordarshan sitcom Chimanrao Gundyabhau, which was based on CV Joshi's writings.Karve starred alongside Madhav Vatve, Dilip Prabhavalkar, Mohan Gokhale, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, and Shanta Jog in Damu Kenkre's original play Suryachi Pille, which premiered in 1978.In 2018, Karve was awarded the Jeevan Gaurav Puraskar at the Zee Natya Gaurav awards.
