He has acted in several TV serials such as Des Main Nikla Hoga Chand (Star Plus), Kadvee Khatee Meethi (Star One), Adhuri Ek Kahani (Zee Marathi), Comedy Circus (Sony Television) etc.Swapnil made his debut in Bollywood with the Hindi film Ghulam-E-Musthafa (1997).Swapnil was one of the contestants of Mr. and Ms. Television, a talent hunt show on Sony Entertainment Television channel. He was among the top two finalists and was crowned with the Mr. Television Title on April 06, 2008.
