Kanchan Satpute

Kanchan Satpute is a Marathi film producer. She owns the production company Nishad audio visuals located in Pune. In February 2008 she produced the blockbuster checkmate, which won awards including the Maharashtra Times "best editing award".Recently Satpute produced a film called Bokya Satbande based on the popular book series by Dilip Prabhavalkar starring prabhavalkar and aryan narvekar. She is also headmistress of a school in Pune.Biography- Kanchan Satpute was born in Thane, Maharashtra to Shivsena ex corporator Rajendra Desai and Shubhada Desai ( née athalye). She is the youngest daughter in a family with 5 daughters. However she was brought up in Pune. She is related to Alka Kubal from her mother's side. She is married to businessman Anil Satpute.
