Ajay and Atul Gogavale (Marathi: अजय आणि अतुल गोगावले) (commonly known as Ajay-Atul) are Indian music composers and directors. In 2008, Ajay-Atul won the Best Music Direction award at the 56th National Film Awards by the Government of India for contributing music to the Marathi film Jogwa (Marathi: जोगवा).
Ajay and Atul were brought up in several villages in western Maharashtra, including Junnar, Shirur. Their father worked for the revenue department, and their family owned some farms. started their music careers with commercial jingles, ballets & advertisements and went on to compose for plays, private albums and movies.
Man Udhān Vāryāche (मन उधाण वार्याचे), Malhāravārī (मल्हारवारी), Kombdī Paḷalī (कोंबडी पळाली) are some of their notable compositions.
Ajay-Atul composed songs and background score for the Marathi film Naṭaranga (नटरंग) (2010).
