Zapatlela 2

  Mahesh Kothare, the legendary filmmaker who created the first puppet-based film in India, Zapatlela, is back with its sequel, Zapatlela 2, marking the Marathi film industry's first-ever 3D film and its first-ever sequel. The film revolves around the story of the doll, Tatya Vinchu, which comes to life, sending chills down the audience's spine. Viacom18 Motion Pictures has announced its foray into regional cinema with this smash hit sequel. The movie stars Adinath Kothare, Sonalee Kulkarni, and Sai Tamhankar, and it is produced by Kothare and Kothare Vision in association with Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Moving Pictures. The 3D stereography and special effects for the film were handled by Spanish stereographer Enrique Criado. The movie has been shot entirely with a 3D camera, making it a milestone for Marathi Cinema. The team had Indian and foreign technicians working on the film, and Prime Focus was involved in post-production, CGI, and VFX of the Film. The film is marketed and distributed by Fox Star Studios.
